In decoration, it is all about enhancing and accessorising by reminding a touch of texture or colour: if you buy the
bourdon pillowcases do not forget to buy the flat sheet to remind the style and the colour on your bed so it looks finished or complete.

I must admit that I have always loved nice things and with time, trust me it does not get better, it gets worse!
One of my friends had repainted some of his rooms and it looks extremely refined yet terribly subtle and understated.
He used the
Farrow and Ball paint “
London Stone” colour for neutralising and bringing a touch of warmth to his gallery. What a great pick, it really works, giving a very polished earthy look that you could easily find in a beautiful hotel reception room – cosy yet very chic!
For his dining room he has used the Farrow and Ball “
Saxon Green” which I was totally blown away by. Saxon Green is a deep rich green with a touch of Bronze; it is a beautiful classic that will put some depth in a room but keeping it somehow extremely soft. It is incredible how it sets off the wood of the furniture and transforms the room into an intimate yet exquisite living space.

I personally adore their “Pavilion Grey” for a bedroom used with “Strong White” for a clean contrast, it would look simply exceptional with the Milk and Honey Sucre Glace Silver finish bedding that would very delicately pick up the two shades and bring them alive. A true Robert Doisneau enchanting snap! I truly believe that you get what you pay for, and quality over quantity is essential to my life. It brings so much enjoyment for so much longer and is one of many of my tips to happiness; it works for me so I thought it would be nice to share it.
