Dressing a room can seem a little daunting at times, the last thing we want is to invest a lot of time and energy choosing a whole theme with different colours, textures, materials and styles to decorate or ornate a room and feel after this effort, SO disappointed!

Taking the bold approach with soft furnishings is one of the most fun exercises of style. It is a little bit like wearing a really big and fab hat, handbag, or accessory but with limiting the risk to a descent scale. I mean the one if you make a faux pas that is not irreversible!

One great statement in deco is to use the patterns from Marimekko. This Finnish pioneer in the 1950’s in applying their graphic designs to textile, started to revolutionise fashion in the 60’s with the support of Jackie Kennedy herself.

I don’t think we could get more iconic than this, that’s why their curtains or blinds would give a powerful yet sophisticated touch to any room.

I personally love the “Ruusupuu 8” design to drape as curtains in a bedroom. It would look stunning with some pure white sheets embellished with a touch of soft strawberry sherbet pink border like the Sucre Glace Pink finish range.

To give the designer look, add the cushions in “Ruusupuu 8” design and the cushions in Sucre Glace Pink finish. Voila, a gorgeous striking boudoir ready to go!

Why Milk and Honey? I wanted to add a little goodness to your life for your pleasure to sleep well and to live well. The idea grew from a dream since I was 16 years old to start my own business and it never left me ever since!
Being a Parisian and having a passion for textiles that runs in my family from mother to daughter and adoring interior design, modern art, photography (Robert Doisneau), poetry (Jacques Prevert) and most of all humankind, ( I would like to thank my Mum and Dad for all these gifts!) it felt natural to create my own label. I was inspired by my favourite artists and beautiful stories that touched me throughout my life.
My husband is blaming me for loving nice products (ok, luxury products!), after all I can still justify having spent €120 on a Prada keyring which is a timeless piece of beautiful perfection and craftsmanship. I love something “special” about anything or anyone, is that a bad thing?

This love for perfection and humankind made me develop this passion for quality over quantity. That’s how Milk and Honey was born. I wanted to create style and luxury in your home without the conscience so my philosophy would be to be a responsible business towards ethics, the environment and quality.
Classic Style Silver FinishMilk & Honey offers gorgeous cotton satin bed linen with a smooth and velvety touch, fluffy cotton towels, naturally filled duvets and pillows, refined table linen and an adorable range for your little ones. All our goods are made from natural fibres and made within the European Union because as a company we pride ourselves in being responsible and caring for humankind, nature and quality. Milk & Honey have sourced exceptional raw materials for all our goods to ensure craftsmanship and perfection – something that is becoming less and less attainable in today’s global marketplace.
But without my so supportive husband Matthew (I have been mad enough to start whilst just having had a little daughter!) and without all the belief and faith from all my family and friends, I would probably not be here right now…
I really really want you to start enjoying the finer things in life like I do – sharing is one of the best kept secrets to happiness…
