Seeing that google did a special homage today to “The little Prince” from Antoine de St Exupery and because it is my favourite book ever, I thought I would do one too here as I find it is a lifetime accompaniment. The little Prince is full of true and deep observations about life and human nature here is one of my favourite:
“On ne voit bien qu’avec le cœur. L’essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.” (“We only really see with the heart. The most important things can’t be seen with the eyes.”)
Loving this video of the evolution of the Batman logo from its humble beginnings in 1941 to present day. When we think about brands and logo’s we often focus on fashion or big companies – not so often superheroes!
Milk and Honey has once again teamed up with the people that brought you Gordon Ramsay’s “A Taste of Christmas 2008″ and “Taste Festivals 2009″ to provide our White Sucre Glace Table Linen to Taste of London 2010 – London’s Premier Restaurant Festival in Regent’s Park from June 17-20.
“Celebrate summer in the city at Taste of London at Regent’s Park, London’s first and largest pop-up restaurant festival. Now in its seventh year, Taste of London brings together 40 of the capital’s restaurants, great chefs like Heston Blumenthal and Giorgio Locatelli at the Taste Theatre, and an extraordinary range of quality food and drink from Britain and around the world. Save the date, invite your family and friends, and book your tickets to the foodie event of the season.”
To celebrate this we are giving away 2 pairs of tickets to Taste of London 2010 to 2 lucky winners!
