Being just back from a trip to Paris, my hometown, we thought we had to share with you this address. Itineraires is a restaurant which is worth going if you do come and visit Paris. Sylvain Sendra is a talented young chef who has just been awarded for “Etoile Montante de la Gastronomie” which means Gastronomy rising star.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is very warm and welcoming, the staffs is charming, the decor is simply stunning as they used noble materials like wood and stones (which as you know I am a fan of) and enhanced it with a sophisticated touch, I personally loved the ceiling lights.
The food is absolutely delicious: it is original, fine, researched and genuine. The menus are changed with the freshness and seasonality of the produces available. The originality of the fusion of different flavours and textures is truly one of the chef’s innate capabilities.

The story behind the Wish bracelets

My sister Laura and I have teamed up together to create and design together a new line of unique and exclusive handcrafted Wish Bracelets. We felt that there were a lack of pretty little gifts to give to a loved one but with a twist. We thought that it would be really nice to offer a present with a dear and distinctive message for someone special. The wish bracelets were then born. We have developed 3 different stories the Milk and Honey® Love Wish Bracelet, the Milk and Honey® Peace Wish Bracelet and the Milk and Honey® Luck Wish Bracelet all inspired by beautiful meaningful human feelings like unconditional love and friendship, tranquility and security, tenacity, happiness and well-being.

The wish bracelets are handmade in Wales to ensure transparency about labour and made under an ecological conscience, all the materials have been carefully selected and are natural or noble materials. We have chosen only the utmost materials available, they are made with a fine semi-precious gems, a sweet Sterling Silver puffed Heart charm, a dainty Japanese Miyuki Bead and we have used a natural pure cotton string finished by a practical running knots closure.

The Milk and Honey® wish bracelet are made acording to an enchanting Welsh Tale, The Welsh legend says that if you make a wish before tying the bracelet on, never take it off. When it breaks your wish will come true. It is a charming and different gift for your friends and yourself.

It is a huge success since we have launched them and we would like to particularly thank all our valuable customers, friends and family to have been totally enchanted by them!

So spread their goodness… x

Lagos, Portugal

We are just back from a beautiful time in Lagos in the Algarve in Portugal. It is the perfect place to go if you are looking to escape from the craziness and business of the modern daily life. Lagos is situated in the Western Algarve in the South of Portugal; it has for a young family everything we could need (if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday).
The beaches are absolutely stunning and at this time of the year are pretty much your own! Our favourite has to be Meia Praia as it is a long endless stretch of fine white sand accessible from its dunes and the Atlantic Ocean will make a great attraction for your little ones and will be of course for you too! It is also an excellent surfing and windsurfing spot when waves and wind are at the rendez-vous…If you would like to explore something else you must go to Sagres and cape St Vicente which is the most south western point of Europe and is absolutely astonishing with spectacular cliffs and views overlooking the Ocean…
Lagos is also a lovely town with character, charm and history with plenty of lovely continental boutiques full of beautiful unique and different pieces, my dream personally! Eating out is great and full of lovely restaurants which are serving local fish and produces and the freshness is pure delight. We personally would recommend “Cashina do Petisco” number 51 Rua da Oliveira 8600-700 Lagos, tel 282 084 285 where the food is excellent, freshly cooked and simple, the chef and owner Luis Rosa and his wife will do anything to please you, they are so accommodating as they were every time making some room for our little one year old daughter when their restaurant is full with a queue outside, they are always warm and so welcoming, definitely a special place to go.
