Why Milk and Honey? I wanted to add a little goodness to your life for your pleasure to sleep well and to live well. The idea grew from a dream since I was 16 years old to start my own business and it never left me ever since!
Being a Parisian and having a passion for textiles that runs in my family from mother to daughter and adoring interior design, modern art, photography (Robert Doisneau), poetry (Jacques Prevert) and most of all humankind, ( I would like to thank my Mum and Dad for all these gifts!) it felt natural to create my own label. I was inspired by my favourite artists and beautiful stories that touched me throughout my life.
My husband is blaming me for loving nice products (ok, luxury products!), after all I can still justify having spent €120 on a Prada keyring which is a timeless piece of beautiful perfection and craftsmanship. I love something “special” about anything or anyone, is that a bad thing?
This love for perfection and humankind made me develop this passion for quality over quantity. That’s how Milk and Honey was born. I wanted to create style and luxury in your home without the conscience so my philosophy would be to be a responsible business towards ethics, the environment and quality.
Milk & Honey offers gorgeous cotton satin bed linen with a smooth and velvety touch, fluffy cotton towels, naturally filled duvets and pillows, refined table linen and an adorable range for your little ones. All our goods are made from natural fibres and made within the European Union because as a company we pride ourselves in being responsible and caring for humankind, nature and quality. Milk & Honey have sourced exceptional raw materials for all our goods to ensure craftsmanship and perfection – something that is becoming less and less attainable in today’s global marketplace. But without my so supportive husband Matthew (I have been mad enough to start whilst just having had a little daughter!) and without all the belief and faith from all my family and friends, I would probably not be here right now…
